AlphaBolt is a race through the alphabet. You're given a letter and a topic — name something in that topic starting with that letter, then dash on to the next. Get from A all the way to Z!
Pick a mode and a topic. You'll get a big letter — name something in the topic starting with it, then dash to the next one. Type your answer or tap 🎤 and say it out loud. Answers only count if they're really on the topic's list — no fibbing! After each letter, tap Next when you're ready (no rush between letters — the clock only runs while you're answering).
Race A–Z on your own. Skip a tricky letter and it comes back round later. Choose your timer style — including Personal best, one continuous clock to beat your own record, or no timer at all.
Everyone sprints their own A–Z at the same time on their own devices, with live progress bars showing who's ahead. First to the finish wins — as long as they've got the most right! Tap Sprint on the home screen, create a room, share the invite link.
Play friends on one device (pass it around) or online in a room. Take turns letter by letter — give up and the same letter steals to the next player. With Extra lives on, everyone gets 3 lives; last one standing wins.
You against a computer character — from Sammy the Sloth 🦥 (easy to beat!) to Chase the Cheetah 🐆 (good luck). Bots can also join Versus games as extra players.
Everyone takes the same letter each round — score a point for a correct answer, nobody is knocked out. Most points at Z wins. Play on your own or with friends — or take the whole family online in a Rush room.
Find every word for each letter before the clock runs out — the counter on screen shows how many are left, and repeats don't count. Find them all and the letter is conquered! Play on your own or pass-and-play with friends.
One shared topic every day — finish it and see today's leaderboard. Playing any round, any mode keeps your 🔥 streak alive; miss a day and it resets. Your streak lives on the home screen.
Rooms use 4-letter codes and invite links — friends join from anywhere on their own devices. Versus rooms are turn-based with steals and lives; Sprint rooms are a live race; Rush rooms put everyone on the same letter at once — most points wins. Leave mid-game and it counts as a forfeit, but you can rejoin with the same name.
Tap the mic and say your answer — plurals and close pronunciations are understood. Turn on Hands-free in Sound & extras and it keeps listening between answers. Your audio is handled by your device's own speech service and never recorded by us.
In the Topic list, tap ➕ Make your own: name it, type the words, and we sort them A–Z. Custom topics stay on your device and work in every local mode — perfect for kids to build their own!
